The Acropolis is a natural hill with steps, ramps and slippery rocks, even when it doesn’t rain. We highly recommend wearing comfortable, non-slippery shoes. The Acropolis is a hill of 156 meters/ 512 feet high and there is no lift for all visitors. An elevator facilitating wheelchair access accessed by application in advance, please advise if required.

Explore Athens in an air-conditioned coach with your guide who will narrate the history of all sights that you will visit. First stop Panathenaic Stadium constructed in ancient times to host the Panathenaic Games to honour goddess Athena and where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. Continue to the Temple of Zeus, the Arch of Hadrian, the Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, continue to the Neoclassical trilogy: Academy, University of Athens, National Library, arrive at the Acropolis Hill, the symbol of Greece and masterpiece of the Classical Times (not including going to top of the hill).

The ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF CAPE SOUNIO has steps, ramps and slippery rocks even when it doesn’t rain. We highly recommend wearing comfortable, non-slippery shoes. For people using a wheelchair they will be able to reach a resting point built within the wall, but not the Sanctuary of Poseidon, as the inclination of the ground does not allow that, from this resting point one will be able to view the temple and the ancient settlement.

Discover the techniques and history behind traditional Greek cuisine in this hands-on cooking class led by Maria Sotou a professional chef and owner of the KLIMATARIA traditional tavern operating since 1927. Maria will share with you her secrets of cooking local dishes, which ingredients are best to use, roll up your sleeves and start chopping as you begin to prepare your Greek meal sipping a glass of wine and learning about local culture. At the end of the 3-hour hands on cooking class, each participant will receive a copy of the recipes and will be able to enjoy the dishes they prepared plus extra ones representative of Greek cuisine.

Cycle from the center to the coast. On the way a stop at the cultural center of the Stavros Niarchos foundation for a short walk to the roof for some breath-taking views of the city and the coastline. Continue cycling via a wide bridge to the coast and visit the Marina Flisvos.

Cycle along a beautiful and safe route that passes by the most noteworthy points in the city. Athens by bike, visit city highlights such as the Temple of Zeus, Parliament House, Acropolis, the ancient Olympic stadium, also see unknown places and neighbourhoods of Athens and visit authentic mezedepolia where you will not easily find tourists! A mezedepolio is a restaurant where small dishes are served often in combination with a glass of ouzo or raki. Mezedes are the Greek tapas and an important part of Greek cuisine, sharing these delicious dishes is a fun way to share a meal.

10 hour Day Trip – DELFI & Monastery of OSIOS LUCAS
DELFI was considered the center of the world the place where heaven and earth met. The centre of worship for the God Apollo, the site of the Delphic Oracle with the Priestess known as ‘The Pythia’. The Oracle exerted considerable influence throughout the Greek world and was consulted before all major undertakings: wars, founding of colonies, etc.
The Monastery of OSIOS LUCAS is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art, founded in the early 10th century by the hermit St. Lucas whose relics are kept in the monastery to this day.

CORINTH CANAL connects the Aegean & Ionian Seas providing a Maritime short cut between the Corinth & Saronic gulfs construction began in 1882 by the French & completed by the Greeks in the year of 1893.
MYCENAE the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon who dominated the Aegean Sea after the destruction of the Minoan Empire.
NAFPLION first capital of modern Greece from 1829 to 1834 and the most Ancient city in Greece, according to myth it was founded by Theseas who first conceived the idea of organized cities where people could live together.
ANCIENT EPIDAURUS see the Ancient Theatre renowned for its incredible beauty & symmetry, theatre acoustics without amplification, see the Sanctuary of Asklepieion the most celebrated healing centre of the Classical world.
